Shareholder in Greenberg Traurig‘s International Arbitration practice in London, with over 15 years of experience in international investment and commercial arbitration. A qualified Solicitor Advocate with Higher Rights of Audience and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb), Clea has represented states, state-owned entities and private companies in high-value, complex arbitrations under the ICC, LCIA, DIAC, HKIAC, SIAC, ICSID and UNCITRAL Rules. She has conducted advocacy before ICC, ICSID and ad hoc tribunals and the DIFC Courts, and has served as Secretary to arbitral tribunals in the energy and heavy infrastructure sectors. Her practice spans infrastructure, construction, mining and energy, commodities and hospitality, encompassing both investor-state and international commercial disputes.

- ICSIDSuccessfully represented the Republic of Albania in an arbitration brought by a Greek petroleum importer under the Energy Charter Treaty and a BIT — alleged expropriation of a fuel tank farm on the Adriatic coast.
- UNCITRALRepresented a Central Asian state against a Canadian uranium mining company under the Energy Charter Treaty — alleged expropriation of exploration and exploitation licences.
- ICCRepresented a North African state in parallel contract and treaty arbitrations relating to a major infrastructure project post-Arab Spring, and in a separate investment treaty arbitration concerning a housing development.
- ICSIDAdvised a North American mining investor against a Central European state — expropriation of an exploitation licence in a major talc deposit.
- UNCITRALRepresented an AIM-listed gold and precious metals company against the Republic of Uzbekistan for expropriation of mining and exploration assets.
- English CourtsRepresented a Middle Eastern state in two s.67 UK Arbitration Act annulment actions and advised on jurisdictional challenges relating to an international arbitral award.
